Attempt at Estonia

Last Saturday I realized that I only have 1.5 weeks left in Finland and have yet to be to Estonia!  I tried to go to buy a ticket in the morning.  My adventure started at the Silja station but I realized that all of the ships leaving there were headed to Stockholm.  I kept wandering down the pier until I found the correct station.  Unfortunately, the 10am and 12pm ferries were both cancelled on account of weather so I decided to head to the market.

Look at the fish!

As the weather warms, the many hat stands have gotten replaced by vegetable, fruit, and flower carts!

Curiously, the same location which offers very fresh fish to buy and cook also offers prepared fish...but only densely fried.

This is the long bridge.  It connects more central Helsinki with Kalio which used to be the factory district of the city.  I do not know where it's name came from because the bridge is not actually very lengthy.

Another market - Sally and I had been planning on going for months.  Sadly, for me, most of the stands were selling fruits and vegetable but it was still really fun to see.
